The Wine Painting Collection

My wine painting collection is finally here! I’ve had a lot of fun painting with coffee and I wanted to try painting with wine as well.

Choosing the right wine to paint with was important to me. For my coffee paintings, I paint using coffee from a local coffee company, Haymarket Coffee Company. While I could use any coffee to paint with, using local coffee from people I know adds something special when I’m painting. I wanted to do the same in my wine paintings and use local wine.

There are a lot of great wineries in my area. I ended up choosing Barrel Oak Winery in Delaplane, VA. I like that they are dog and kid friendly and are very community oriented. These are good values and I kept them in mind while creating my paintings with their wine. I’m using their Peanuts Petit Cuvee (which has a cute dog on the bottle) for my paintings.
